Social Inclusion League

Once again the Power League was the venue for some thrilling games in this month’s social inclusion league. Asylum Link Merseyside and MASS got out of group one, while Addaction and Whitechapel Centre won group 2 with Croft Housing and Liverpool YMCA finishing third. After 2 great semi finals, the crowd witnessed a thrilling final between Mass and Everton Asylum Link Merseyside. After ending in a 6-6 draw, EAL kept there cool in the penalty shoot out! Big thanks once again to staff at the Power League and Liverpool County FA for their continued support.

Golfing Masterclass

Last week saw Liverpool Legend Roy Evans along with Everton stars Graham Stuart, Graham Sharpe and Mike Newell, come together in a golf tournament arranged by the Sovini Group to raise awareness and funds for Liverpool Homeless Football Club.
After a rainy start to the day, the sun shone through and the players were able to show off their golfing skills. This was followed by a formal dinner and an amazing act by comedian Gary Skyner.

A big thanks to The Sovini Group, Trowers and Hamlins Solicitors and all who helped make the day a success.
