Monday 19th of December sees The Merseyside Derby and the old question still exists…
Is Merseyside Red or Blue?
Well why not help us find out and help the homeless this Christmas.
It is simple..
- On Friday 16th of December, join us in Dress-down Friday.
- Wear a red or blue Christmas Jumper or a red or blue top
- Make a donation to LHFC either financially or a toy towards our Christmas appeal
- Take a picture and tweet how many reds or blues you have in your workplace to @livhomelessfc #redorblue
- We will keep a running total and on Monday the 19th we will declare whether Merseyside is red or blue
- The best dressed Liverpudlian and Evertonion will win a signed copy of the Reds V Blues DVD’s as well as the organisation that raises the most money and has the most people taking part
Dave Kirby, writer and producer of the play REDS V BLUES is supporting the idea along with the production stars Andrew Scholfield and Paul Duckworth.
He stated: “There’s always healthy banter and ridicule in the city between reds and blues over their ‘Scouse’ support. This is a great fun way to disprove the the ‘Norwegian Reds’ and ‘Welsh Blues’ theories! Whether red or blue we always come together for greater, worthy causes and I can’t think of a worthier cause than helping the homeless at Christmas time.”
