Liverpool Easter Egg Appeal
Easter can be a tough time for people on Merseyside. Especially the homeless, they don't have much to be able to provide for their children. Holidays like Easter and Christmas should be full of joy for children whatever their parents or guardians circumstances. This is why we started our Liverpool Easter Egg Appeal back in 2013.
We work together with the Liverpool YMCA, Whitechapel Centre and AFC Liverpool to ask people all over Merseyside to donate a chocolate Easter egg to someone less fortunate. During our first year, we had fantastic success with over 200 eggs donated by you the generous people of Liverpool. The second year we asked for donations we received over 700 eggs. Now we get at least 1000 eggs donated every single year.
If you feel you could help a child out with a donation then please do so. Chocolate eggs now only cost £1 in most shops, so if you're out buying then please buy an extra one and donate them to us. We know that there are children out there who will be very appreciative of it.
Distribution of Donated Easter Eggs
After we count all of the eggs we then need to distribute the donations to the children of Liverpool. All donations will be gratefully received by children who are residing in temporary accommodation and homeless/domestic abuse shelters across Merseyside.
