Had an absolutely fantastic meeting with Harris Pogust and his team from SPG Law. Harris visited our office with donations to our Christmas Toy Appeal from his firm SPG Law Liverpool. The company has six offices across the United States and a brand new office in Liverpool City Centre.
The team heard all about what we do at Liverpool Homeless Football Club, they watched some videos and listened to our very own Jess about how LHFC have supported her on her emotional journey. You can watch the video here if you would like to know more about Jess. The guys donated loads of fantastic toys, and they will definitely bring a smile to the children of our city who will benefit this Christmas.
The team were happy to pose for photographs with our CEO John Finnigan as shown above. If you’re not sure which one our CEO is, he’s the one riding the Unicorn!
The team wanted to know all about LHFC and how many people we help. We explained how we engage with our clients and our #morethanjustfootball ethos, where we use sport and other activities to engage with people. They also wanted to see if we can develop a partnership going forward in 2019, which we would be absolutely delighted about. Despite their obvious size and different area of expertise, SPG Law has a very similar ideology to LHFC in that they fight for justice on behalf of people who have been wronged. A current example of their work includes supporting the more than 100,000 women who have been affected by the TVM Scandal, learn more here.
