We are lucky enough to have a myriad of people who help us achieve our aims here at Liverpool Homeless Football Club. Although we list a few here, in reality there are over 100 people and companies who help us on a regular basis.

“I was lucky enough to be invited down to The Power League Liverpool, as part of Sports Relief. As well as having a game of footy I had the opportunity to meet some of the players, whose life stories not only moved me, but gave me an understanding of some of the issues homeless people face. The club not only gives support to the players but is a platform to rebuild their lives. A fantastic club, that I am proud to be a patron of.”

“I have been an ambassador for LHFC for several years now. Without the hard work of many people the league could not and would not survive. However it is to my delight that the league is as strong as ever and the camaraderie, sportsmanship and competitiveness that takes place every match day is a joy to see.”

As a Coach & Engagement Officer, Shane is passionate about using football as a tool to
change lives. Having experienced his own journey of transformation through the club, he
understands first-hand the power that sport, support, and opportunity can have on individuals
facing difficult circumstances.
Today he is dedicated to helping others rebuild confidence, develop new skills, and realise
their potential both on and off the pitch. His mission is simple, to inspire hope, create positive
change, and show no matter where you start in life, football can open doors to a brighter
future. Through empathy, lived experience, and a genuine commitment to others, he strives
to make a lasting difference in the lives of the people he works with every day.
