Yearly Women's Tournament
Every year, LHFC hosts multiple women’s football tournaments. Each tournament is free to enter, and sees women’s teams from across the North West come together to play football, in the name of a greater cause.
These causes vary with each event – regular examples include our Women Against Domestic Abuse Tournaments, Breast Cancer Awareness Cup, and more. Past tournaments have featured special guests such as Crissy Rock, Sue Johnson, and Ann O’Byrne, who spoke to attendees about their own experiences before the games took place.
Every player is given a medal for participation, and the winning team receives a trophy to commemorate their achievement. Individual awards are also handed out to the player and goalkeeper of the tournament.
